Sam Hamilton

Physical Therapist, Team Lead

With 26 years of experience in physical therapy and 24 years specializing in pediatrics, Sam has dedicated her career to helping children overcome physical challenges and reach their full potential. Sam earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Wyoming and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota. In addition to her expertise in pediatric care, she is a certified TheraTog Fitter with an extensive background in gait mechanics and has received advanced training in NDT (Neuro-Developmental Treatment) as well as visual/vestibular interventions.

Sam has always had a passion for science and physical activity, and the field of physical therapy offered the perfect blend of both, with the added benefit of serving children and families. She finds deep fulfillment in celebrating the small victories alongside families, knowing how hard the children work to achieve them. For Sam, the focus is on making therapy a safe and engaging space where both children and families can learn, grow, and feel supported.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys camping, hiking, reading, and helping their children live their best lives. A unique aspect of her practice is incorporating singing and music into therapy sessions—something she finds that adds an extra layer of joy and motivation for young patients.

Guided by the wisdom of Albert Einstein’s quote, “Play is the highest form of research,” Sam approaches each session with the understanding that learning through play is both effective and enjoyable. She integrates this philosophy into her sessions, ensuring that every therapeutic goal is approached with creativity, curiosity, and fun.
