We are seeking an individual who is compassionate, caring and supportive to each child and their needs.
What you’ll do:
- Manage a caseload as clients continue to be referred to SkyBreak Therapy.
- Provides Speech Therapy Pathologist services to clients and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Speech Therapy Department procedures.
- Conducts screenings of clients at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
- Evaluates clients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Conducts specialized evaluations as indicated.
- Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to family and other professionals.
- Develops treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short and long term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
- Coordinates treatment plan for client and provides copies for family and other professionals.
- Implements and conducts treatment plan as outlined in treatment plan.
- Monitors client’s response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.
- Documents results of clients’ assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services.
- Adapts treatment to meet the individual needs of the client.
- Recommends and obtains appropriate equipment to improve client’s communication. Instructs client and family in use of augmentative communication devices.
- Instructs client and family in appropriate speech-language procedures or home program to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
- Participates in discharge planning.
- Participates in client, family, and staff education.

Personal and Professional Skills Needed:
- A Master’s Degree (Required)
- • Speech and Language Pathologist License (Required)
- • Licensed or able to become licensed for practice in Idaho (Required)
- • Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language-Hearing from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- • Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members and other facility personnel
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Positive and patient demeanor
- • Report to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency during assigned work hours.
- • Project a positive and professional image at all times.
- • Pediatric therapy experiences beneficial
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / 1099 ; Hourly, Non-Exempt.
Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits, ranging from $72,000-104,000 per year depending on experience and position within the company.
