Your Role as a Pediatric COTA
At SkyBreak Therapy, we make therapy fun, functional, and family-centered. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will support children ages 0–21 in reaching their fullest potential through play-based, meaningful activities.
You will:
- Provide engaging, hands-on pediatric OT sessions (under OT supervision)
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
- Assist with fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, feeding readiness, ADLs, and play skills
- Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, and therapy assistants
- Document therapy sessions and progress notes in our EHR system
- Support family education, home program carryover, and parent coaching
- Participate in team meetings and community events that celebrate progress and joy
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (required)
- Current Idaho COTA license (or eligibility)
- Strong passion for working with children and families
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, energetic, creative, and playful attitude
