Your Role as a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant

At SkyBreak Therapy, we make therapy fun, functional, and family-centered. As a PTA, you will:

  • Assist in gross motor and mobility evaluations (ages 0–21)
  • Support individualized, play-based treatment plans
  • Provide creative, engaging therapy sessions (30–60 minutes) under PT supervision
  • Help children improve strength, coordination, balance, gait, and functional mobility
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and assistants
  • Educate and empower families with home exercises and guidance
  • Maintain accurate EHR documentation and progress notes
  • Participate in team meetings, celebrations, and community events

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting (required)
  • Current Idaho PTA license (or eligibility)
  • Passion for helping children grow through play and movement
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, creative, energetic, and positive attitude
